The Heat All Star Weekend!
Forever Miami Heat employee Dwyane Wade made sure the franchise that he sacrificed blood, sweat, tears and forever second fiddle to each of his championships continued to have success this All-Star Weekend. Him told the cameras after the Dunk contest that “I wasn’t the only one who gave him a 9” is the equivalent of telling your mom, I wasn’t the only one talking in class, or telling your wife, I didn’t mean to have another child while we weren’t together. Either way the NBA All Star was another success to those NBA players who we really don’t care about.
Buddy Hield aka Lil Baby, showed the NBA world not only was he still in the league, he also can still shoot. Hield hopefully is soaking all the success and joy from this weekend before he has to go back to one of the few cities in California no one cares about Sacramento. Imagine playing for a franchise who thought Marvin Bagley III was better than Luka. In hindsight he does have a new contract even if he almost had to cry to get it.
The Miami Heat took the skills competition and the Dunk Contest yesterday and hopefully we learn more about the Heat as the playoffs roll around. They are a sleeper team to make a lot of noise in the playoffs. Jimmy Butler, who has successfully left three organizations and be right all three times, is their Alpha and he should be able to be a calming force as they start the 2020 playoff campaign.
Quick Hits:
Aaron Gordon is only known for losing Dunk Contest in impressive fashions.
The Orlando Magic alternate jersey looks like a cheap version of the Suns jerseys. Muy basura!
Dwyane Wade was as annoying as Reggie Miller. They should never on a broadcast together.
If I never see Chadwick Boseman again id appreciate that.
Next year the All-Star game is in Indiana. Will the strippers fly to Indiana next year?
